The mission of the Grand Traverse Band Education Department is to provide educational opportunities and guidance to all Tribal Members through parental, staff and community involvement. Our goal is to prepare Tribal Members of all ages to be successful as life long learners by supporting and promoting the use of our traditional culture and language. The Grand Traverse Band Education Department assists Tribal Members in achieving their educational goals, today and always.

 

Michigan State University Extension's Adulting 101

Programs help high school students demystify the obscure reality of being an “adult” through engaging educational sessions. Each session is packed full of important life skills and tools necessary to live independently.

  • Community Engagement
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Career and Future Education
  • Home Skills & more!   

In addition to sessions, MSU Extension's robust website provides additional information for participants to further explore Adulting 101 topic areas.   

MSU Extension's Adulting 101 FREE summer series will take place every Tuesday, July 12-August 2 at 1-2 p.m.
