Kitchi Minogining Tribal School

A state recognized non-public school that operates four classrooms in Peshawbestown, Traverse City, Benzonia, and Charlevoix. Our primary function is to provide an excellent education, curriculum, and instruction to our high school students. KMTS is staffed by certified teachers; Cindi McIlrath and Kellie J. Barton, who are dedicated to helping their students achieve their learning goals. KMTS uses State-approved curriculum, and our credits and diplomas are accepted by public schools, state colleges, and universities. We also offer online GED preparatory courses.
