All GTB community members are invited to be a part of the ‘All About Red Willow’ workshop & the ‘Feast Our Maples’ picnic, great workshops for all ages. Come learn about Red Willow harvesting, propagation, preparation, and its diverse uses as medicine, teacher, and craft.

Then join us for a Maple Feast, picnic-style with stories and teachings while showing our Ininantigeg (Maples) they are cherished and cared for this year.

Members of the community can visit the GTB Natural Resource Dept. Sugar Shack on Putnam Rd. Drop-ins are welcome!

WORKSHOPS OPEN TO PUBLIC

Join us in honoring the wisdom of the land and the Maples at our Grove this season. Though we didn’t tap the Maple trees this year, it was a decision made with deep consideration and respect. Instead, we invite you to join us in ceremonies and workshops focused on stewardship and appreciation.
