Food banks will be available for students enrolled in Traverse City Area Public Schools beginning 3/18/20 in the following buildings:

East Middle School

Traverse Heights

Long Lake

Blair

Benzie Schools

Tuesday 3/17 -Benzie school bus drivers will be driving their regular routes starting at 9 AM and stopping at all the regular bus stops delivering breakfast and lunch for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday 3/20 - Benzie school bus drivers will be doing the same trip, delivering enough breakfast and lunch to cover enough meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday if students would like them.

Monday 3/23 - Benzie school bus drivers will again run the regular route starting at 9 AM delivering breakfast and lunch to cover Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday 3/26 - Benzie school bus drivers will repeat their routes delivering breakfast and lunch for Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday.

(Special instructions for children who did not ride the bus)

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM

GUIDELINES:
v Must be a member of a Federally Recognized Tribe.
v Reside within the GTB six county service areas.
v Be at least 18 years or older
v Proof of Residency and Tribal Enrollment.
v Weekly visits available until further notice.
v Elders or homebound families needing delivery can make phone orders & requests home delivery.

Emergency situations will be considered

GTB NRD Special Use Hunting Permits

GTB NRD is offering Tribal member hunters the opportunity to obtain a "special use" permit to harvest a deer to assist in feeding family and community.

Call ahead to make sure offices are open and go see NRD for these permits.
